Join Our Team

Sanssouci Palatina is hiring a founding team for a women’s health and wellbeing retreat hotel in Klingenmünster, in the heart of the Palatinate wine country.

We offer full-board hospitality, women’s health programming, restorative practice, excellent food and community.

Our work connects physical health, hormones, mental and emotional wellbeing, relationships, nutrition, sleep, stress, sexuality and environment.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about women’s wellbeing and excited to create and build this unique offering across the operating disciplines.

Leadership Roles

These four senior roles are the core of the leadership team and will report to the founder. They are responsible for their own departments and for working together to create one coherent guest experience.

These roles require fluent English and it would be a plus that another European language, including German, is spoken. These are full-time on-site roles as all contribute to the overall guest experience. Progressive packages which reflect the roles and overall purpose will include options making it easier for women to be here and work here.

To apply, please send a CV, references and a short note explaining which role interests you and why to info@sanssoucicollection.com.

We are a non-discriminatory employer and fully celebrate diversity.

Above all, we hire for heart, fit, energy, reliability, kindness, emotional intelligence, and alignment with the spirit of the house. Skills matter, but much can be trained. The right attitude cannot.

We are building a family team. Fit, care, and shared purpose are essential.

Work-Stay Opportunities

As you can imagine, building a community-centred space and retreat centre is no small task. If our mission and values appeal to you, and you would like to be involved on a more personal level, we have a number of work-stay opportunities that also make being here a more accessible proposition.

We have a constantly evolving need for support. Primary areas of interest and focus include gardening, permaculture, food gardening, forest gardening, herbalism, herbal gardening, medicinal plants, apothecary, distillation, and floral essences.

In the kitchen, fermentation, preservation, and larder cooking are essential supports. We are also interested in people with building skills to help us realise a dream of converting our old barn into a painting studio and fully equipped ceramics studio.

Projects may be of long or short duration. All work-stay positions require references. For more information about the nature of the work and the terms, please reach out in the first instance to info@sanssoucicollection.com.

Writers in Residence

If you are a published author and interested in a medium or long-term residency, we welcome writers who are willing to offer guidance to other guests through a seminar and private engagement model.

The intention is to provide small-group and individual support for guest writers, while also giving the resident writer time, space, and quiet for their own work.

If this is of interest, please reach out to info@sanssoucicollection.com with the subject line “Writer in Residence”.
