Join Our Team
Sanssouci Palatina is hiring a full team for a gastronomic, retreat-oriented hotel in Klingenmünster, in the heart of the Palatinate wine country.
We are building a house of restoration: a place shaped by food, care, movement, beauty, seasonal rhythm, women-centred wellness, and generous hospitality. We are looking for people who want to help create something with heart, professionalism, warmth, and long-term purpose.
Leadership Roles
Department heads are our first priority. Leadership roles require full fluency in English and at least strong German language skills. At least initially, all leadership roles will be full-time and on-site, with possible flexible working arrangements over time depending on the role.
Head of Wellness Programming & Guest Experience
This critical leadership role is responsible for shaping and implementing the wellness programme across the year: developing the annual calendar, designing courses, retreats, events, and guest experiences, engaging visiting practitioners, and managing the roster of guest and staff providers.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across several aspects of wellness, women’s interests, embodiment, wellbeing, and retreat culture. They will be both imaginative and practical: able to hold the vision, organise the details, and create programmes that guests genuinely want to experience.
Head of Food & Beverage
Food is central to Sanssouci Palatina. We are looking for a visionary Head of Food & Beverage who understands food, wine, fermentation, seasonality, and the table as part of wellness.
This role will lead the food and beverage offer, develop the guest chef programme, attract and retain culinary talent, and help make the kitchen one of the defining features of the house. We are looking for an alchemist and a charmer: someone with taste, discipline, leadership, and the ability to gather people around the table.
Head of Hotel Operations
We are looking for an experienced operator who understands hospitality as a form of home.
This role includes rooms, housekeeping, grounds, maintenance, property standards, and the daily smooth running of the hotel. The right person will be practical, calm, detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and experienced in the realities of running a hotel. This is not only an operations role. It is a stewardship role.
Head of Marketing & External Relations
This role is responsible for creating demand, capturing demand, and telling the story of Sanssouci Palatina to the right audiences.
The role includes marketing, sales, social media, revenue management, agency relationships, press, hosted and complimentary visits, trade shows, advertising, outreach, and external communications. The right person will understand both storytelling and commercial reality.
Other Critical Roles
Yoga Teachers
We are seeking both short-term guest yoga teachers for residencies of two weeks to one month, and longer-term yoga teachers across different modalities.
Bodyworkers
We are seeking qualified bodyworkers and practitioners to work from our premises as part of the guest wellness offer.
Restaurant, Kitchen, and Café Team
We are recruiting across food and beverage, including head chef, sous chefs, pastry, café, service, kitchen support, and cleaning.
Housekeeping
We are recruiting a Head of Housekeeping and housekeeping / cleaning staff.
Groundskeeping
We are recruiting gardeners and groundskeeping support for the ornamental, open, and kitchen gardens.
Maintenance
We are recruiting maintenance and practical property support for the buildings, rooms, grounds, and daily functioning of the house.
Working Models and Start Dates
Depending on the role, the person, and the skills involved, we are open to a variety of working models, including full-time, part-time, seasonal, freelance, resident practitioner, internship, and volunteer arrangements.
Start dates begin from August 2026.
Who We Are Looking For
Sanssouci Palatina is a FLINTA-owned space and a women-centred wellness hotel open to all. We warmly welcome applications from queer people, BIPOC candidates, and people of all genders, backgrounds, belief systems, and ways of life.
We are a non-discriminatory employer and fully celebrate diversity.
Above all, we hire for heart, fit, energy, reliability, kindness, emotional intelligence, and alignment with the spirit of the house. Skills matter, but much can be trained. The right attitude cannot.
We are building a family team. Fit, care, and shared purpose are essential.
Compensation
Our pay structure will be competitive with local benchmarks. We also intend to include a long-term profit-sharing component, so that the wellbeing of the house is something we all share in and think about together.
