A retreat hotel in the Palatinate wine country

Sanssouci Palatina reopens on 1 August at the historic Stiftsgut Keysermühle in Klingenmünster: a house of rest, retreat, and renewal in the wine country of the Palatinate.
The former Stiftsgut Keysermühle is entering its next chapter as Sanssouci Palatina, the German house of Sanssouci Collection.
Set in the wine country of the Palatinate, close to forests, vineyards, castles, walking paths, and the villages of the Südliche Weinstraße, the hotel offers guests something more rooted than an ordinary stay: a place to rest, gather, eat well, and return to themselves.
Bookings are now open for stays from 1 August.
Rooted in the values of Aetas Deae, Sanssouci Collection offers houses of rest, retreat, and renewal: places where beauty, nourishment, nature, and feminine-led hospitality create the conditions for guests to return to themselves.
Sanssouci Palatina is our German house: grounded in the landscape of the Pfalz, held by nature, and shaped by a philosophy of care.
Sanssouci Palatina offers rooms for individual guests, couples, private groups, and travellers coming to the Palatinate for rest, wine country, walking, culture, and renewal.
We welcome enquiries for stays from 1 August onward.
The house is especially suited to retreats, seminars, workshops, creative residencies, embodiment work, cultural gatherings, and communities who need a beautiful place to meet, practice, eat, rest, and be held.
With guest rooms, gathering spaces, seminar rooms, dining areas, gardens, and access to the surrounding wine country and forest, Sanssouci Palatina is a natural home for meaningful gathering.
The Palatinate is one of Germany’s most generous landscapes: a region of rolling vineyards, sandstone villages, forest paths, castles, seasonal food, open skies, and quiet beauty.
Sanssouci Palatina is located in Klingenmünster, near the German Wine Route, in the Südliche Weinstraße region of Rheinland-Pfalz.
We believe hospitality can be more than accommodation.
It can be a culture of care. A rhythm of nourishment. A place where guests are allowed to soften, gather, create, recover, and return to themselves.
Sanssouci Palatina is shaped by beauty, simplicity, nature, feminine-led stewardship, and the belief that a house can hold more than beds. It can hold a new beginning.
